When is Hide & Shoot open?

Parties run 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm for an hour and a half (including food) on Saturdays and Sundays.

Nerf Guns

All children should bring their own Nerf Guns. Hide & Shoot will provide all the bullets. Bullets must not be taken from the arena. All bullets must be returned to the arena. We do have spare guns to borrow but all breakages must be paid for, please ask at reception.

What time should we arrive?

We ask that you arrive 5 minutes before your Hide & Shoot party start time. This is so that we can get you ready to begin your activity on time.

Open sessions

We run an open session every Friday from 5–6pm where you can book individual spaces and try your hand at conquering our Nerf arena. Turn up with friends and your Nerf guns to join a game. It’s £8 per person. Head to the bookings page to secure your slot!

Birthday parties

Book the whole arena out for your private party. You will pay for the whole space at £240 for up to 20 guests. This price includes food and drink.

Wanting a smaller party? Book out a slot for up to 10 guests for £140 including food and drinks.

What to do I need to do before the party?

We will be in touch a week before to finalise details. Distribute your party invitations, tell your guests to arrive 5 minutes before the start of your booking, to bring their own guns and to have fun!

What age do you have to be to attend Hide & Shoot?

Children must be 4 years and above to play Hide & Shoot.

Can I add more children to an ‘open session’ booking?

Yes. Just head to the Bookings page to book the spaces you want!

Disabled access

ROKT is an old flour mill and does not have lift access to Hide and Shoot on the second floor. We do have a disabled toilet on the ground floor.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

You can cancel your booking with 7 day’s notice and a full refund will be given. Please contact Hide & Shoot to discuss the refund.

How long does a party last?

The party will last for 1 hour in the Hide and Shoot arena and half an hour for party food afterwards.

Can I bring my own party food?

No unfortunately not as we have just opened our fabulous new eats and treats room, which is separate to the main arena, where we serve hot dogs (vegetarian or Gluten free options available), savoury and sweet snacks and juice.

Do I need to bring any paperwork?

No. You will be sent a booking confirmation at the time of booking.

Marshalling and briefing

It is very important that everyone involved in Hide & Shoot listens to the Game Marshal when requested. There will be at least one marshal in our indoor playing arena during game play at all times.

There is a full briefing at the beginning of each Hide and Shoot Party. You are required to listen and adhere to the rules at all times and to play safely.

Rules

Children who do not comply with the rules of play may be removed from the game at any time.

Safety Goggles

Safety goggles must be worn at all times when playing in the arena. These will be distributed to each child on arrival at Hide & Shoot. All goggles will be collected after the game.

Are spectators allowed to stay?

We welcome parents to come and spectate but do remember that children will be eating in the cafe area after playing in the arena. Relax with a hot or cold drink and a cold snack whilst watching through the netting into the arena!

Are there any toilets?

Yes we have a toilet just outside the arena and a baby changing area is available on the ground floor at ROKT.

What do you wear?

We recommend comfortable, non-restrictive clothing, for example tracksuit bottoms or leggings. Children should wear a pair of clean indoor trainers.

Mums – no heels will be allowed in the arena if you do need to venture in there!

Prams

Prams can be left on the ground floor at ROKT or carried up to the second floor at Hide and Shoot. ROKT is an old flour mill so we do not have lift access, however staff are more than willing to help carry the pram upstairs.
